…Creating on the Hill…

Life is about the people you meet and the things you create with them

..Doodles in a Matchbox..

..remember i told you about setting myself another doodle challenge..

I took a matchbox, covered it with paper, inked the edges and added a little draw pull

..i cut 31 x 1″ x 1″ squares of card ( a months supply of mini doodle cards)

i then set about doodling with pencil any design that popped into my head..

again i find doodles are such a fun way to get an Art “Fix”..

i use my water colour pencils and brush pens to add colour..

I thought it would be hard to think of ideas to draw on an inch of card…but i kept it simple

and am looking forward to finishing the last few cards

The Crafts House is a small studio on top of a "hill"..a place to create..a place to breathe..a time just for you.. I'm the luckiest person to spend my days creating the art that i love..meeting like minded creative friends..sharing time in the palette of life..

  1. What an amazing idea, and they are all so pretty

  2. Hello Sandra! How cute are your matchbox doodles! Like the bumble bee one – at one inch square the bee doodle must almost be life size! I can’t quite believe I have actually completed a block for Quilts for Comfort – Yay! Will pop down with it next week sometime (away to London this weekend for American Football at Wembley (my Ian) and to paw at some fabric in Liberty’s (me)! Hope all is well on The Hill and a Hi to the Goldsmith Gang! See you soon, Karen B x
